You will be accompanied by our guides who have worked in our area for the past 35 years. They know all the details of the land; rivers and trails. They have been professionally trained in compass and map reading. This is a major requirement as an unpredicted blizzard can sometimes occur. With our guides, each day will be a full and rewarding Experience.

Snowmobile Excursions
Enjoy the Sensation of Floating Over Powder Snow
Sunday:
* Arrive in St. Anthony or Deer Lake;
* Dinner at Tuckamore Lodge (depending upon flight arrival time) with an introduction to guides, information on areas you will he snowmobiling in during the week and what to expect
Monday:
Familiarization of handling of snowmachine, if required;
R & T Ride: Ride to Eastern Brook, White Hump and Tom Rose's Ponds Have refreshments at a secluded cabin and then head back to Tuckamore Lodge for the night.
Tuesday:
Ride to L'Anse aux Meadows, visit the museum to hear the story of the Viking Landing 1000 years ago. overnight at the Viking or Vinland Motel, St. Anthony.
Wednesday:
Ride from St. Anthony through the beautiful White hills to Ireland Bight or Lock's Cove and then on to Main Brook. In the evening enjoy a Viking Feast, a chance for you to dress and act like a Viking
Thursday:
Cloud Hills Tour: Ride through the deep fjords, see herds of caribou as you pass through beautiful Cloud Valley en route to Cloud 9 Lodge; spend the night at Cloud 9.
Friday:
Ride over the mountains to Williamsport, see the remains of a Japanese Whaling Factory. Snowmobile the valleys and lakes back to Tuckamore Lodge for the night.
Saturday:
Straitsman's Ride: Travel over bogs and lakes to the west side of the Great Northern Peninsula & Return to Main Brook via Rube's Steady.
Sunday:
Return to the airport to begin your trip home.
On all rides, you will have the opportunity to photograph Seals. moose, caribou, fox, bald eagles, rivers and beautiful scenic areas.

A Viking Feast!
The interior of Tuckamore Lodge is transformed with the addition of birch trees for an evening of unmatched Viking Revelry in a simulated outdoor setting.
The feast highlights wild game including moose, caribou, black bear, fish and local vegetables. Desserts are created from local berries including bakeberries (also known as cloud berries) partridge berries and black berries. The entire feast is served on wooden plates with wooden forks and knives.
The quests are initiated as Vikings through the "Yell-In", a ritual conducted by a sword wielding Master of ceremonies. The quest are required to recite selected passages and drink a traditional Norwegian Liqueur ( local syrup can be substituted for non-alcohol drinkers). Successful would be Vikings are awarded a certificate as a "Viking Yeller"
Guests have always enjoyed this evening of Newfoundland music and traditional good times.
