The location:Tuksukatuk Lodge is located on the shores of Hudson Bay 35 miles (55 km) south of Puvirnituq QuèbecThis area has never been hunted before except for the villages own needs. This will be one of the most if not the most exciting hunts you have ever been on. Don't miss it:

Arctic Adventures would like to welcome Sport Hunters from around the world at his modern, well equipped Tukstikatuk Lodge. There have been many caribou in this area during September hunting season the past three years. The caribou have been travelling along the Coastal shoreline possibly feeding on mineral rich Seaweed swept in by the tides and the winds. The Inuit community of Puvirntuq, only 30 miles (50 km) north of the camp, has also been visited by numerous migrating herds during the past three summer / autumn seasons. Aliva with support of the local community has been able to open a tremendous territory to his hunting guests. Imagine having choice of two base camps for staging your hunt depending where the caribou are. Combine this option with an invitation from your guide to hunt three major river river systems, two large lakes and fifty miles (80 km) of Hudson Bay coastline and you have a hunt of a life time.

This will be unique and very different from any inland hunt available for Quebec Labrador Caribou.

Access:
Access to the village of Puvirnituq from Montreal is via a scheduled Dash-8 flight by Air Inuit. Access to the camp is by chartered Twin Otter on wheels as the camp has a suitable gravel landing strip.

The Lodgings:
Guests are accommodated in in oil heated cabins - 2 quest per cabin. Hearty home cooked meal are prepared and served in a separate kitchen/dining room facility Other camp facilities include hot showers, generated electricity, refrigerators and freezers and a two way radio communications system. The camp also offers Caping services and rough scoring of trophies for our guests. Your game will be carefully stored in our screened meat house and packaged in specially designed boxes for home bound transportation. Likewise your antlers will be wrapped to protect the tines from being broken or damaged during the trip home.

Hunting, Fishing, Wingshooting, non Stop action!
The rivers and lakes in this region abound with native Brooktrout, Lake Trout and Arctic Char. Early season hunters will be able fish during their trip if they wish to combine their activities for a change of pace. Later when the fishing season is closed, hunters can hunt ptarmigan with their guide. Harvesting a trophy bull will be your guide‘s priority during your hunt.
