How the No-Peep works

The No-Peep comes with a bracket that mounts to your bow under your sight. It works with any type of sight, fixed or moveable. There is a lens with a dot in it and at the focal length of the lens is a ring and light gathering fiber. You adjust the No-Peep so when you draw your bow to your normal anchor point the dot on the lens is inside the ring. Now, every time you draw your bow, your eye will be in the same place and your eye will replace a peep sight as the rear sight. Then you just look at the target and your sight pins. The magnification and focal length of the lens will magnify any misalignment. If your eye is off by a small distance, the dot and ring will not align. Your eye should not move once you have a solid anchor, just like your sight pin does not move around inside your peep sight once you have a solid anchor.

After you have used the No-Peep for a while you find you don’t need to look at it because now you come to a consistent anchor point when you draw your bow. The No-Peep images will be aligned and you can see them in your secondary vision if they are not.

IMPROVE YOUR FORM WITH THE No-Peep

The No-Peep works for either left or right hand shooters.  One of the biggest advantages of the No-Peep is it points out bad form. Most people who start using the No-Peep find they have several problems in their form that keeps them from shooting to their potential. Some target shooters use the No-Peep with a peep sight to improve their form. Archers shooting Olympic type archery use the No-Peep to develop their form. Common problems the No-Peep will tell you are:

Bow Torque - Gripping your bow too tight causes it to rotate in your hand as you tighten your grip. Bow torque causes your groups to string out left and right. Tension in your bow arm also causes torque.

Hand Placement - Changing the location or pressure of your hand on the bow grip will cause the arrow to change point of impact. That is why some target archers tattoo a permanent line on their hand to line up with the center of the grip.

Tension in Your Body - Tension makes you torque your bow, punch your release, and get target panic. One common cause of tension is too long of draw. Many people draw their peep sight up to their eye, which makes the hole appear bigger for better visibility. Today’s short bows have an acute string angle. That increases your draw length if you draw the peep sight up to your eye. The sensitivity of the No-Peep will tell you if you have tension in your body. It can help you to relax, which will improve accuracy.
